Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that builds your strength, mobility, and flexibility. Many of us associate chair yoga with people who have mobility challenges, but this practice really is for everyone!

These sessions are diverse. Most commonly, we practice in a seated position, but we also use the chair as a prop – for example, as a tool for balance. Again, we modify the class to your needs, so this practice is suitable for all levels!

Which styles of yoga does this include?

This class is a combination of Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Yin Yoga.

During class, we might use props such as bolsters, straps, and blocks. But you can also be successful in this class without these props, or you can substitute them with things you already have! Need ideas for prop substitutes? Contact us for ideas.

We offer these classes in-person and online, and the teacher is fluent in English, Dutch, and Norwegian. Contact us for more information!
