Children go through different stages of development. Our Kids Yoga is mindful of this by offering separate classes for different age groups.

  • Preschool: Ages 3 – 6
  • School Age: Ages 7 – 9
  • Pre-Teen: Ages 10 – 12

Many of the poses in our Kids Yoga classes are actually similar to the ones we practice in adult yoga. But here, we teach these poses in a playful way, stimulating your child’s imagination and sense of discovery.

We have found, for example, that children love practicing these poses to their favorite songs, especially when they get to play the role of their favorite characters! At other times, we let your child create their own characters and build their own stories during a class.

These classes are most fruitful in-person, but in light of COVID-19, we do now also offer these classes online. So don’t hesitate, register your child for Kids Yoga today!

Ages 3 – 6: Sunday

  • Amsterdam = 4:00 – 5:00PM

Ages 7 – 9: Saturday

  • Central Time (U.S.A.) = 10:00 – 11:00AM
  • Amsterdam = 5:00 – 6:00PM

Pre-Teen Ages 10 – 12: Saturday

  • Central Time (U.S.A.) = 11:30AM – 12:30PM
  • Amsterdam = 6:30 – 7:30PM
