In Senior Yoga, we practice many of the same poses as in our mainstream classes. But in Senior Yoga, we are mindful that our aging bodies sometimes ask for some extra tender loving care (TLC).

So how do we give our bodies that TLC in these classes? Well, in some cases, we use extra props for support, such as blocks or even just the wall. A chair is also a very versatile prop – one that allows for a plethora of modifications.

Like many of us, you probably also prefer to practice something as intimate as yoga in your mother tongue. At Artsy & Me, we already offer Senior Yoga in English, Dutch, and Norwegian. If you speak a different language, please let us know and our international organization will aim to accommodate to your needs!

Every Sunday:

  • Central Time (U.S.A.) = 10:30 – 11:30AM
  • Amsterdam = 5:30 – 6:30PM

If you are a senior citizen and this particular time does not work for you, please consider signing up for one of our mainstream classes. Most of the practices in our mainstream classes can be modified to your ability!
